L2e Solutions Education Design Experience

Successful learning takes place in an environment that supports the physical, intellectual and psychological needs of students and teachers. L2e Solutions' designers understand the approaches necessary to create facilities that improve the quality of the educational experience. The Design Team at L2e Solutions stresses that schools must be learning-engineered environments. We believe that understanding the learning process is critical in the planning stages of school design.

It is our conviction that through collaboration in the design process, with input from staff, administration, and students, the architect can best understand program goals and translate them into a well-conceived project that is functional, attractive, affordable, and maintainable. Our planning and programming services to our educational clients recognize specialized curriculum needs and are based on a clear definition of requirements for learning objectives and goals.

In our designs, we recognize the ways in which learning can be affected by every detail in the physical structure of schools: i.e., classroom location, lighting, HVAC and power systems, noise, ceiling height, colors of walls and furnishings, type of furniture, and amount and type of available space. Our designers understand that the environment can directly affect the number of information educators are able to convey to their students. A well-designed classroom building helps to eliminate distractions and annoyances that can interrupt the learning process.
